5. Post-Deployment Validation​

After SmartOfficeNXT is deployed, the following validation steps ensure the platform is correctly installed, functional, and ready for use. These checks help confirm that the application components, permissions, and automations are working as expected in the client’s environment.

5.1 Application Accessibility​

  • Verify that the SmartOfficeNXT site is accessible to authorized users.
  • Ensure the SmartOfficeNXT application package is installed and visible in the App Catalog.
  • Open the application and confirm that:
    • Pages load without errors
    • UI components render correctly
    • Required lists & libraries are available

5.2 Administrator Access Verification​

  • Log in using an account assigned with SmartOfficeNXT administrative permissions.
  • Confirm that the admin dashboard loads successfully.
  • Verify that the administrator can:
    • Create Forms
    • Configure Workflows

5.3 Form Creation Validation​

  • Create a sample form using the SmartOfficeNXT form designer.
  • Configure basic properties (title, description, fields, etc.).
  • Publish the form and ensure:
    • The form appears on the user dashboard
    • It is selectable and opens without issues
    • Form submission is processed and stored correctly

5.4 Dashboard & Menu Visibility​

  • Confirm the published form appears in the application’s user dashboard/menu.
  • Validate that:
    • Categorization works as expected
    • The form is visible based on user permissions
    • The form loads with correct structure

5.5 Automation Validation (Power Automate)​

  • Ensure the Power Automate solution has been successfully imported.
  • Verify that all flows:
    • Are enabled
    • Have valid connections
    • Contain correct environment variables (such as URLs and configuration values)

5.6 Final Functional Walkthrough​

  • Conduct a short end-to-end test with the client admin team:
  • Create a new form
  • Submit the form
  • Validate that the data appears in the respective lists/libraries
  • Confirm that any related automation executes
  • Review the full process from a normal user’s perspective

5.7 Go-Live Readiness Confirmation​

  • Once all validations are completed successfully:
    • Confirm that all permissions are correctly assigned
    • Ensure branding assets are displayed correctly
    • Lock and document final configurations
    • Prepare the environment for user onboarding
