2. System Requirements

This section describes the requirements needed for clients to successfully use and administer SmartOfficeNXT within their Microsoft 365 environment.

2.1 Client Environment Requirements

To operate SmartOfficeNXT, the client must have:

  • An active Microsoft 365 tenant
  • Access to SharePoint Online
  • Access to Power Automate
  • Access to Microsoft Teams and Outlook (for notifications and approvals)
  • A modern web browser (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or equivalent)

2.2 User License Requirements

Users interacting with SmartOfficeNXT should have Microsoft 365 licenses that include access to:

  • SharePoint Online
  • Power Automate
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Outlook

2.3 Network & Access Requirements

For successful operation:

  • Internet access to Microsoft 365 cloud services
  • Access allowed to SharePoint, Power Automate, and Teams endpoints
  • No on-premise server infrastructure required
  • VPN access only if mandated by the client’s IT policy

2.4 Administrative Requirements

The following roles are needed for setup and configuration:

  • SharePoint Administrator / Global Administrator

    For deploying the application and granting required permissions.

  • Product Administrator (within SharePoint)

    For form configuration, workflow setup, and user management inside SmartOfficeNXT.
