Q1. What actions can a Task Performer perform when they first receive the record?

When the record reaches the Task Performer for the first time, they can:

  • Submit task details
  • Return to Creator if more information is needed

Q2. What happens when a Task Performer receives the record after final approval?

After the record has gone through all approvals, it comes back to the Task Performer to:

  • Mark as Done after completing the task
  • Return to Creator if the task cannot be completed or needs rework

Q3. How is a Task Performer different from Approvers and Reviewers?

The Task Performer focuses on completing tasks. They can submit task details, mark tasks as done, or return to the creator, but cannot reject or skip requests.

Q4. Can Approvers and Reviewers skip any record?

Yes, Approvers and Reviewers can skip a record. However, if they are the final Approver or Reviewer in the workflow, they cannot skip it. In such cases, the Skip button will not be visible.

Q5. How many Task Performers can be added in a flow?

Only one Task Performer can be added in a workflow. Once a Task Performer is added, the Task Performer role will no longer be available as an option when adding more steps.
